EXAMPLES:

1- a) She said to me "Is your brother still in London?"
        She asked me if my brother was still in London.

     b) He said to me "Are the workers working in the field today?"
         He asked me if  the workers were working in the field that day.

     c) They said to him "Are you going to work here?"
         They asked him if he was going to work there.

2- She said to Jim "Will your sister marry next Sunday?"
    She asked Jim if her sister would marry the following Sunday.

3- The teacher said to the students "Can cats swim?"
    The teacher asked the students if cats could swim.

4- My aunt said to me "May your friend visit us tomorrow."
    My aunt asked me if my friend might visit us the next day.

5- a) Jack said to me "Has your father got hundreds of books?"
        Jack asked me if my father had got hundreds of books.

     b) Her mother said to Jill "Have you done your homework?"
         Her mother asked Jill if she has done her homework.

     c) Mary said to her husband "Do you have to work in the evening?"
         Mary asked her husband if he had to work in the evening.

6- She said to Jack "Must we go out now?"
    She asked Jack if they had to go out then.

7- He said to me "Does your father sell T-shirts?"
    He asked me if my father sold T-shirts.

8- She said to me "Did your mother make a delicious cake yesterday."
    She asked me if my mother had made a delicious cake the day 
    before yesterday.
