EXAMPLES:

1- a) She said to me "What is your brother's job?"
        She asked me what my brother's job was.

     b) He said to me "Where are the workers working today?"
         He asked me where  the workers were working that day.

     c) They said to him "Why are you going to work here?"
         They asked him why he was going to work there.

2- She said to Jim "Who will your sister marry ?"
    She asked Jim who her sister would marry.

3- The teacher said to him "What language can you speak?"
    The teacher asked him what language he could speak.

4- The director said to the workers "Who may finish the work 
    today?"
    The director asked the workers who might finish the work
    that day.

5- a) Jack said to me "How many books has your father got?"
        Jack asked me how many books your father had got.

     b) Her mother said to Jill "Who has done your homework?"
         Her mother asked Jill who had done her homework.

     c) Mary said to her husband "Why do you have to work
           in the evening?"
         Mary asked her husband why he had to work in the
         evening.

6- She said to Jack "Where must we go  now?"
    She asked Jack where they had to go then.

7- He said to me "What does your father sell?"
    He asked me what my father sold.

8- She said to me "What did your mother cook yesterday?"
    She asked me what my mother had cooked the day before    
    yesterday.
