Can for permission and request

(İzin ve ricalarda can kalıbının kullanımı)

Can for ability ile ilgili ayrıntılı bilgiyi 38,39 ve 40. sayfalarda da bulabilirsiniz.

Bir işi yapmak için birisinden izin isterken veya birisinden ricada bulunurken can kullanırız.

Examples (Örnekler):

1) Can I come in ? (Girebilir miyim ?)

     Yes, you can. (Evet, girebilirsin[iz] )

2) Can I go to the cinema ? (Sinemaya gidebilir miyim ?)

     No, you can’t. ( Hayır, gidemezsin[iz] )

3) Can John come with us this evening ?(John bu akşam bizimle gelebilir mi?)

     Yes, he can. ( Evet, gelebilir.)

4) Can I watch television ?

5) Can I eat sweets in bed ?

6) Can he stay until midnight ?

7) Can I borrow your, pencil ?

8) Can you speak up, please ? 

9) Can I invite ten friends to lunch ?

10) Can I have more pocket money ?
